Religion as a Tool for Division

So far we’ve looked at three key aspects that constrict our society: race, money, and nations but another key aspect that has both shaped our society is religion. Now before you start getting heated that this is some atheist rant, I don’t care what you believe in. Personally, I believe that we are an abstraction of base reality and a type 8 civilization, that at one time induced the matrix that we call the universe and the multiplex to live through. A civilization of that level would have become so perfect that living in it, would have become boring. So using the underwriting architecture of the universe that they mastered, spawned the separations in linear time to recreate order in a disordered system and that life is kinda like autonomous self-replicating robots, instead of metal, organic life is the machine and the universe is the system in which to saturate and rebuild the base configuration in.

But this article is about religion and how when combined with nation, money, and race it becomes a tool for oppression. This is merely a criticism of the repercussions of religion, believe what you want, but be aware of the problems attached to this type of ideological system.

In many cases religions are combined with race, money and nations like the ideological glue that persists through the population allowing for a deeper level of cohesion. This is a dangerous thing, because most people do not understand their faith, they use it more often than not to justify and reinforce the greatness of the population of believers, while indoctrinating others to believe as they do in hopes of “saving them” or oppose them because their views and practice do not align with theirs (https://medium.com/@jamesrhule/why-nation-states-are-irrelevant-in-the-21st-century-d3a9233978e5#.ze6hb84po ). This is a structure of thought replication, designed by the self-interest and ideological cherry picking of holy texts. This is also fuels a spiritually driven interpretation of the ‘us verse them’ mentality that divides people and makes them desensitized to their own manipulation in their efforts to control other people at their level. Truly spiritually aware individuals should be focused against the systems that remove the value of human life and ingrain the subjugation of people in the interest of the few. Some follow this mandate, but do so by lashing out with violence; the idea of ‘God’ does not need mortal violence to enact the mandate of equity and freedom. It requires thought, ingenuity, and collective appreciation of life put into action against those that seek to limit and control everyone’s life experience, while enjoying the oppressed derived wealth. I would say let ‘God’ handle those that violate life, and let life work together to live a better life together and free. This means changing our perception of value and understanding the greedy actors in our population rather than just moving through the channels afforded to revolution. Those who manipulate cheat and rely on the system, leaving revolutionaries to risk their lives and freedom, just to earn more freedom, that is a broken system.

The True task of religions

All religious institutions should have a rigorous liberal agenda in order to ensure the freedom of people in their life’s. this is a belief in fostering the individual’s development throughout life (everyone in the family is an individual, and equal so they should all be supported right?), lessening the social disparity and increasing the social equity. when we have less social inequality, the rates of crimes and unfavourable behaviours increases. It is systematic oppression, that causes people to act out and by only perpetuating the functions of these systems, religions do not redeem people but confine them to the same actions that they console them for, and in many faiths they collect their money in the same motion. Religions that do not want to be divisive should: transparently show where their collected money is going, their leaders should not live better than their followers and should advocate for true democratic and uncorrupt systems, without the stigma of ideological faith attached to their actions. This invokes the mission of the religious leaders to deliver the promise of salvation and freedom of all people in this life, and not the indoctrination of their ideologies.

Religions offer us a satisfaction and ground in our mortality, it empowers us when we feel weak and oppressed. But it also acts like a tool for oppression when people use the spirituality of the human condition to impose boundaries that control the actions of others, this is no longer spirituality but manipulation, using the feeling of being more than ourselves as an intangible confinement. When imperial Europe was colonizing the world, they used Christianity to indoctrinate the indigenous populations and to accept salvation through their ideas and symbols, thus imposing their ideological control over the people and destroying culture, through the ingrained ideas of divine place and order to be exacted through their subjugation. They aren’t the only people to do this type of practice, but it is the foundation of western civilization so it merits reference, we’re not going to ignore the most pervasive example to appease the sensibilities of those who continue to benefit from this system. The idea of life after death has become in many religions the tool for control and resistance to changing the oppressive regimes of human life. Why overthrow the system? living with it will give you salvation afterwards so you’ll be fine, just suffer in silence and say your prayers. This is the message seeded into religions that do not do everything in their power to erase the oppression that people feel in their mortal lives. This is the true error of religion and why it, in most manifestations is not a path of spiritual freedom but a doctrine of subservience to worldly interests. No spiritual leader should ever have more than the people they serve, lest they be stuffing their pockets with righteous dollar bills, instead of the interest of the people. Life is touted in many religions as God’s gift, yet they profit from the hope of freedom in this life and that is evil. Of course this is not the practice of every religion but I would advise being more conscience in the responsibilities I outlined earlier to do with transparency and demand it. Social progress is the route to cast of the cancerous mechanisms that kill our planet and we can start changing it at every scale of interactions when we look through the false perceptions of race, religion, money and nations.
