The Human Computer

disclaimer: this article assumes some previous knowledge from the reader but still should be interpretive enough to have a wider understanding/appeal. points if you get the irony of this statement at the end 😉

Continuing the series about the intersection of blockchain technology and reality, we turn to focus on humanity.
we start with a theme, or better yet a question that may have occurred to you in my last article: multiplexes, and the various configurations of multiple realities.

but, first we have to start with an absolute understanding: there’s no such thing as open systems, only distillations of closed systems in which variables aren’t accounted for or simplified abstractions of discrete mechanisms for the purpose of understanding and comprehending common phenomena. closed systems have all the values and variables accounted for in their processes, they’re “turing capable” if it were, inclusive of all possibilities, whereas open systems are like algorithms and feed off bigger datasets to infer a discrete meaning or observation.

In humanity this could be relayed to our comprehensions of dimensions of reality, our perception allows for us to perceive as an open system, the universe feeding us scenarios and complex decisions when truly, in reality, we are experiencing a segment of completeness, a total karmic effect of an eternal presence; which is both recursive and reflective of a total order but experienced in pieces. we can see this effect in history and future projections but also in the unique experiences we face and the multiplistic nature of reality itself.
To explain this, let’s start on a grand scale like history and work our way down. a common notion in metaphilosophy is the comprehension of history, both the personal and the societal, and the common conclusion is that complete comprehension is impossible but only fixed to a cause due to nuance of time over. this comes about because history is a culmination of various perceptions and narratives, so it is easier to comprehend a singular narrative that has acted like the axis to the current state of comprehension instead of a cohesive spectrum address of total history, which is to say that the conditions of the present state are easier to rectify through linkages of significant occurrences leading to present state than to undermine and rehash the undercurrent of particular conditions in states leading up to the social ledger at any point in time.

we see the history presented to us as the confines of history, but it is not inclusive to the total ledger.

this is dominant data configuration, are like commonly accepted computational states in a fixed ledger of values, this is a social ledger which comes about and is shaped by abstract symbols or themes in which almost every individual in the network or society can experience, these are things intuitive to our nature like love, hate, justice, truth, envy, deceit, and connection instead of cryptographic numerical formulas to prove a state of being or value distribution. social themes experienced in action or event are the numbers in the social ledger as well as the value between good and bad absolute moral polarity. an interesting to parallel is the complex and indescribable features these themes have in the human life as they are themselves made up of and emerge into being from complex systems in and of themselves both metaphorically and empirically linked as themes in their individual development and isolation to become social themes. much like numbers they are absract and our only discrete from our comprehension of them as isolated values “universal” to a set of identifying features. The balance of the social ledger is made up by factoring of all these thematic variables over time experienced by individuals (verifiying nodes) to define and create events to a culmination of keystone events (blocks) carried through linear perception and linear social organization into the development of culture at any time. no culture dies, it merely changes, otherwise, it never existed. Even erasing culture in an act of defiance or power paves way for its revival by way of continuance and re-emergence from the ashes and residue of its opposition because in opposition it was absorbed, not destroyed (transactions are included in the new block regardless). outlawing an act of ritual is in its oppression codifying it. this act of removal is like the social equivalent of a 51% attack in a blockchain network, even if the transactions are reversed or rewritten, they still occur, they are not erased. There is a balance in a ledger and there is a balance in society. it is the simplicity in addressing the common narrative which reacts so vehemently to attempts to redefine it from a less pervasive social view, this reaction could be compared to the abstraction of common themes in culture and imagination to the possibilities of this known realities: do we create myths and fantasies even though they don’t exist or are we expressing a reality that could be known but not perceived in the confines of our historical context? a less abstract idea is: do people deny atrocities because they can’t perceive or care to comprehend of it happening in their own linear context of experience or because the event couldn’t have happened at all? the less is known, the tighter the restrictions (on verifiying nodes), the less is perceived the smaller the window for interactions. let’s relay this to society at a deeper level, people in a society are less likely to perceive of an atrocity or horrific event are those tuned to a set of social themes that exclude (or rationally minimize) those of that represented in the horror, they have a lesser capacity for it, since those themes haven’t been processed to the same extent as others who may understand and perceive resemblance in the event. do you see the imbalance of themes in ignoring events? connection and love are downplayed while deciet and hate become promintent enough to block out the conversation and understanding of the problem. in the blockchain, you can see people as random verifiers, in society you can see this a distribution of experiential values that shape the perception of events and reinforces the opposite effect of the theme felt by any given node and/or person.

This limited scope of comprehension and event processing creates a vacuum for repetition of events given, the perception of barriers and trends by dominant actors in the state of a ledger. history repeats itself when it is not perceived by the leaders in the trend because of the cyclical nature of a closed system being expressed by an open system of indifference and incomprehension through experience.

even in the confines of a linear timeline, our reality has presented the notion of completeness in a closed event series. Some represent this echo as karma or by extension as reincarnation but this effect is commonly perceived and experienced in real-time across a complex and interconnected society as opposite thematic value of an expression and an experience generalized by the linear comprehension of individuals to create the things that we feel and can express: the social themes. think of the saying “the truth is on the side of the oppressed” (Malcolm X) truth is a social value, and absolute in the eyes of society, oppression is often veiled in deceit and lies to wield the power of the group over a section of the population, or to shift the computing power of the nodes on a ledger; truth still exists because it is a discrete aspect of the ledger but the value is shifted to a specific configuration of the total ledger.
The point of isolated closed nature in the relation of variables can be paralleled further to a theme in the previous article: general relativity, general relativity only exists because we perceive a separation in dimensions of our universe which is to say that we apply an open system in the universe in which energy is defined by mass and speed but this isn’t inclusive to the total possibility of energy to transform, it relates to the states in which we perceive and indicate by greater extension to the multiplex. Therefore a limited amount of interactions create the physics of our dimension because all possibilities aren’t possible there indicates a limit to dimensions regardless of if we perceive them or not. Now one might argue: isn’t it these states that allowed for us to perceive in the first place creating a rubric for our comprehension? no, not necessarily because the system isn’t completely closed, there are possibilities both not taken and taken and the ramifications of actions taken are the only options present but not inclusive to the entire spectrum of possibility because the possibility exists. if the constant is energy there persists an effect of transformation that can be received in a singular reality and in those not experienced. we perceive a superposition but can experience a multitude due to the nature of choices in a closed system, options exists but absolutes persists.

in the next article in this series we will explore cryptography intricacy and it’s relation to string theory.
